SE was suppose to do them in conjunction with the guy that made the Mongoose stickers. I've been waiting for almost two yrs for the new repop versions to come out. I gave up and sourced them from other people.

I think TL has posted somewhere on here that they are planning on releasing first and second generation SE decals. If I recall, he stated they should be out by mid-summer.

We remove fake SE decals from E-Bay. Thanks for the link. And I just realized that link was to YOU (strangeling) that was selling the counterfeit SE decals. Man, thanks for turning yourself in!
We've got our eye on you...
YES. We are making 1st & 2nd generation SE decals. PK Ripper, Floval Flyer, Ripper, OM Flyer, and Landing Gear decals.
We just sent the FINAL artwork to to our sticker vendor. We hope to have them by late summer. And yes, they will be available through the guys at Vintage as well as SE. And they will be spot on.
Sorry for the wait, but they will be top notch, high quality, and genuine. And MADE BY SE. Not some "strange dude" in his basement....

Todd,
Maybe you should get your facts right before accusing me of making SE Decals.
The decals I put on ebay are just a couple I bought several years ago and I am not making any counterfeit decals.
I am (was) a big SE Fan but this has really soured my taste for SE.
All you had to do was contact me and I would have removed the decals from Ebay.
If anything you have a "STRANGE" way of dealing with your fans.

If you are/ were an SE fan, and spend ANY time on these boards, then you must have known about TL's crackdown on bootleg SE decals. So, if that were the case , you know selling bootleg SE decals is gonna look bad, whether you made them or not. This is a glaring example of why repops are BAD. YOU didn't make them, but YOU got the RAP. Sux, huh?
I don't think Todd is directly involved with your auction getting yanked. I clicked on your link shorlty after you posted it and the auction was already gone. WAY before Todd posted here. I think e-bay has instructions from SE about possible bootleg SE items and cancelling any questionable auctions.
As far as cancelling your PK, all I have to say is "You'll be sorry. " and, "Great, more for me and the rest of the die-hards "

Capt. Nemo, you are correct. I did not remove the auction. When I clicked on it, it was already gone.
It's funny when I delete auctions from guys who say "Hey, I didn't make it, I bought it off E-Bay a while ago." Well, a fake is a fake & we don't have time to ask questions.
And Strengeling, please read my thread again. I did not accuse you of "making counterfeit SE decals." I accused you of "selling counterfeit SE decals."
-And I see that you do not deny that fact.
When I go on to E-Bay, there is ONE button that I can hit and the auction is eliminated. Sorry, but I do not have time to personally e-mail people and ask them to remove fake SE stuff. When I see fake stuff, it's gone. Simple as that.
Strangeling,
I am protecting the image of the brand. Eliminating fake SE stuff from E-Bay is what needs to be done. Sorry you got stuck with the junk decals.

I've got an "eye for it." And I consult with old school SE buffs from time to time if something is questionable.
Sometimes it's easy. For example: Sometimes the sizing is just way off. Or it's a color that was never produced. Or they claim to "make the decals in any color."
If any of you would like to help the cause, if you see something that's undoubtably fake, shoot me the E-Bay web link to tlyons@sebikes.com
Here's the deal: If we do not protect our trademarks, then we stand to lose ownership of our trademarks.
Oh, and I just realized that I did accuse Strangeling of making them in his basement. Sorry 'bout that Strangeling. I just got all caught up in making a basement joke in the previous entry. Typical me, trying to make a funny....
