Nice lookin' SX. Can't really go wrong with a classic look.

Funny. While waiting for my new Quad I put this one together. It's a 24" JC Racing Quad. I am waiting for the rims and Landing Gear decals that I got on ebay. (Weinmann's, Black with blue hubs and black spokes. ) Crupi pro round pedals with JP cages on Super Maxi cranks, Oakley 3's, CW Cruiser bars, SR neck, ACS seat post clamp, cheap immitation MX brakes and Z Chain. I have a set of blue Quadangle pads with white lettering but I am looking for a black set instead.

Thanks for the comments guys. The bike rides very smooth. I just heard that my SE Quad is on the way, so I'll get to build a 20 incher next week...

Where can I get that sweet stem?
Chris C.
That bike is very cool. The quad almost looks better at 24" than 20" - dare I say!
Chris S
That is sweet. When did you get that Quad from Supercross is that something new they are making?
Pete Q
Looks like a Retrobmx Pro Neck.... am i right?

I've got a blue one.... love it! Wish I had a decent ride to slap it on though.
TOMMY2WHEEL
SX sure did a great job on that frame, I like the paint to. Nice bunch of parts you put on there to buzz .
Racer
SX i'm told, made only 25 of them a few years back.
Man those look sweet, first time Ive seen one. Much better geometry then the Floval Flyer SE is now putting out.
Somebody from SE should buy the Supercross one and take it to Tawain and go here, dont change a thing!

Does JC still make 24 quads?

I bought the frame/fork and a bunch of other stuff for the bike, off of lownslow. I had it powdercoated the medium SE blue with a fine under coat of sparkle - looks great in the sun. The stem is from Paul Smith - RetroBMX. Of all of of the bikes I ride, it is by far the most fun.

I bought it on ebay from a guy in Australia. It is pretty new but the only history I got on it was that it was one of about 20.
COASTY
Theres currently one for sale on aussie ebay. Too pricely for me or else I'd grab one.
Nice job on the quads guys. They look great.

Looks sweet.

You really can't go wrong with a Quadangle that has good brakes & all the Triangles in the frame.

That's a slick mix of old & new gear on the 24inch blueboy....

I'm happy with my "restro" 1997 20 inch Quad , it's got everything I want & need on it , except that cool looking 1 1/18 Pro Neck......besides Matt's got a 2007 looptail Quad. I should get Matt & both the Quads together for a photo & big air jumping session.
To compare the "decade of difference" tween the 2 bikes , US vs TW.

I wonder if JC will knock up a 26 inch Quadrangle frame for me to cruise around on , with the lazy old school geometry of a Kos Cruiser , I'll ask him real nice & see what he says.

You cant beat a big Quad

My old SX built 26"er:-

and my current ride, Kappa 24" Quad

I think he may be already doing it JB!

I'll have a look Howard , but i think he uses new school frame geometry on his Quadrangles , I want something similar to the nice user & wheelie friendly geometry that I felt first time I took the Kos cruiser I built up in the shop for a test ride in the early 1980's.

I'm a 20 inch or 26 inch bike guy...fast & furious low center of gravity or fast , furious & kinda scary center of gravity , for a 6ft bloke like me.

24 inch bikes just don't do it for me , despite the fact that they probably are the best size to base a purpose built hardtail street , trail & BMX race bike on.

I'd have bought one but I had always heard complaints on the SX quads having too low of a BB with 180mm looking really close to the ground.
