Can you run a Profile Evolution bottom bracket with new double pinch flight cranks? I know they are both 19mm spindles but I thought I saw somewhere that they are slightly different. Has anybody done this?

Funny i just swapped cranks on my robinson and porter, my d.p. flights fit the profile BB no prob.

the current taiwanese (2002 til present) double-pinch Flights are the same as Profile (19mm). the earlier USA double-pinch and "non-wrap" style Flights were slightly different.

I've done so with the new redline flights, no problem.

yea, i had the american made dbl. pinchbolt flights a few years ago and the spindle was about a millimeter or two too small for the profile B.B.
i had to run only the redline sprockets also cuz i couldnt find an adapter that would work with other gears.
i got my double pinch flights in 2000.
it was weird cuz 3/4" and 19mm are dead same...redline musta wanted ya to use only thier gears or somethin.
