Are coloured and graphite 24" tuffs really, honestly going to be produced? Maybe I'm imagining it, put I'm sure the date of their availability seems to constantly get put back. I'm itching for a set of red ones with maybe a pair of graphites too, but if it's like another 6 months or so I think I'm gonna fold and just get some black ones or some Arayas or something.

Can any of the Skyway guys shed any light on this?
Capt. Nemo
I'm patiently waiting for blue ones.

I'll wait as long as it takes for 24" graphites in the T spoke design.

Wheelie King-
One of these days!
Skyway has plans to do this, and when I was there visiting the Skyway plant I talked to the man responsible for getting the new "old" T-spoke 24" wheel mold designed.
The thing is, Skyway's BMX business is a very small percentage overall in what they do. As larger customers, with cash up front, want a special wheel made, they end up bumping this project back.
I can have colored 24's made at any time, using the "H" spoke model that they currently are using, but I'm waiting for the "T" spoke model to be made.
Graphites are also planned, but will need to be tested first prior to releasing them to the public.
So, in a nutshell, these things are planned, but no exact production date is scheduled until the final drawing revisions, and prototypes have been made. And that won't happen until Skyway completes some of their existing production work for other companies.
So... hang in there!

I'll test those 24" graphites for you Ed. I could even pick them up from the factory! LOL!

Ed would the 24 inch graphite Tuffs have the same diameter center & sealed bearing setup that the 20 inch graphites have ?

I understand that there may need for extra webbing etc to be cast into the center of the sealed bearing graphite hub to compensate for the larger diamer wheel stress's that will come into play , but it would be _exceptionally_ cool to be able to fit Ted Carls 20 inch graphite flanges straight onto a set of new school 24inch graphite tuffs , flip flop rear end of course..
Wh000p Bad 4$$ !!!!

Put Matt down on the list for testing the 24 inch grahpite Tuffs in the Southern Hemisphere , we must make up at least 0.1% of the total 10% of toadys Skyway BMX products market <heh>

Thanks for replying Ed.

*sigh*... I absolutely HATE having to wait...but I understand it'll happen when it happens.
GFR Industries
I would take either the T or the H right now..

Ed, would it help if you started up a thread asking how many people on these boards would sign up for them. Maybe if you had a definate number of people who were ready to spend, could this possibly assist in securing a production slot?

Two Sets for me Please!

I need some yellows for the GHP. Orange might work too.

Now all we need is some 26 inchers.

Is there a reason 26 inch tuffs were never made? I'm guessing the (boing!) flex factor would be too high?
Dweez
I keep checking for availability about every month.
I want a set of blue 24"s and maybe a red set as well. But its got to be the T spoke design, no wheel chair lookin tuffs on my bikes.
ColoredTuffs.com
Actually, the wheel chair Tuffs are also a "T" spoke. That's what the original "T" spoke 24" wheel mold was converted to!

Crisco- yeah... 26'ers would feel spring loaded I'm sure!
