I was thinking about getting one of these, but wanted to ask a few questions about them. My local bike shops don't have any in stock, but can order them. I don't want to order one and then find out I don't like it.

How do you like yours?

Any parts that you would change on them?

I'm a little over 6 ft tall and 260#. Do you think it would hold up? I'm just looking for something to ride around and hit some trails with, nothing too crazy.

Thanks.

I like the bike. It's put together well. I'm not planning on doing any heavy riding with it, and I'm not that big of a guy.( 5'11", 190) For me, it will be a neighborhood cruiser.

Take a look at the other '07 OM thread and check out the pics of TL hittin' the trails with a totally stock OM. If the guy that spec'ed out the bike has that much faith in it, I think that says alot!

Bronx -
I dig mine ALOT and I'm 5' 9" (on a good day) and about 220 (all muscle, of course)

It's smooth, fast, tough as nails and yeah, it would hold you up no problem.

I said I wasn't gonna upgrade/switch out any parts, but I couldn't help it.
I put on some different tires (never liked colored ones), meaner pedals, ditched the derailleur hanger/ tensioner thingy for a nicer c.t., put on a different set of grips & a beefier stem.

I think that's about it.
It's more white/black/silver/blue color scheme now & I'm sure people are gonna give me grief about pulling off those blue skinwalls now

Yep - I'm 6'4" and it suits me well. Really nice and high at the front, so your lower back doesn't suffer.

It rides increadibly smooth, the gearing feels perfect, and there doesn't seem to be any flex in the frame.

Upgrades will happen as time goes on, but to be fair it's just cosmetic changes as the bike is well specced out of the box.

I've changed the grips, tyres and seat for black ones as all the blue was a bit too much for an everyday rider. Looks pretty damn cool now IMO.

Anyhow, buy one - you won't be disappointed.

I just bought one. They are spot-on in everyway. No disappointments. I am not going to change a thing... staying stock. Everyone that tested it at the tracks say its perfect. Both performance and looks.
Needs nothing. Buy one.

The owner of my local bike shop is going to get one for me, he gave me a good price. The only problem is that he tends to forget, so I have to go by a lot and remind him.

I only wish that the forks didn't have all that space above the tire - looks bad w/o front brakes on it.
If I could change the forks w/o throwing off the steering angle I would.
I know it's merely cosmetic, but it just seems weird to me...

I got one ordered, it should be here on Friday. I can't wait to ride it, this weekend the weather should be nice. (Finally).

Hey Bronx Styler, did you get that OM yet? How do you like it, and where did you buy it from?

thanks
Chris
