xbmxlegendx
id buy a set of new school box profiles
rumblerdave
I'd buy a set for my GHP, for sure. I love Profile's.
djdane
Yeah that would be great. I would rock them as well.
IArider
count me in.
wonder what a min run would cost them?
xbmxlegendx
they will probably cost some stupid astronomical price
bwl007
I would buy a set.
OS Jbay
I'd buy a Some.
Woody's Hot Rods
I'd be in for sure.
Average Joe
I'm interested, I wouldn't drain the bank acct. for them. Over $200 and I'd sit on the sideline.
IronHide
I'd be interested.
underdog13
I would be in for a couple pair as long as they are marked when they were made.
Capt. Nemo
Square or round. Blue or chrome. Cranks are cranks.
seracingman
Just put the repop decals on the new arms.
brklynfbm
Yes, yes... I'd like a pair. I'd pay $200-260 with the BB,stickers and such.
frazer
If they could get them to come in for not much more than their normal cranks (which are already just about the most expensive cranks on the market), then I'd buy a pair for sure. If they were the same price as the standard cranks, I bet they could go mass market and sell quite a few.
larryS
I'll take at least two sets.
dingobmxer
I would love a set of those (or Kappasport cranks) for my 24" Loop Quad
DINGO
xbmxlegendx
is kappa making those anymore?
Woody's Hot Rods
They are not making the Kappa cranks anymore.
TOMMY2WHEEL
I would absolutely love a set or two of retro boxy profiles if they made them. As long as the price wasn't so crazy.

I also wish Kappa would make them cranks again.
avalanchefan
If they made the orig. flat , no indent. box orig 1st. gen's i'd buy a set for $200-$300 . Is anyone from profile out there ?
seann
I e-mailed them about six months ago with the same question. I even brought up thier history with bmx and how many people thought their stuff was top notch. The reply to my e-mail was two words! We'll see......
npsarider
i spoke with charlie fernades the day i started this post .he didnt seem to think their is enough intrest so if more people show intrest here ill send it to him . maybe i should post this over in the vintage section.
lowchin
Chuck

You post this over in the Vintage section and you should pretty much see an instantaneous belly aching by the purist.

However I would love to see some more retro stuff. Bring it on.
Secret Spin
They would sell like hotcakes. I would buy a pair. If they would make me a set in 177, I would buy 3 pairs! Even in 175 and 180, I bet that profile would not match the crazy demend if they did a limited run!
The cranks would go for almost double on ebay in no time. Bet on it.
gptrash
id be in for sure
cruiser boy
I would by at leat one set.
Tony S.
I would be in for at least one set.
Walter Holda
Hey, if the price is right and they will be clearly marked so that there is no confusion with the originals I'd be in for a set!
npsarider
Special edition Profile Retro "Box" Cranks are on our future hit list. As far as I can divulge, they would be one size, chromed and numbered with a limited run (sold internationally). We can't say when either. Stay tuned.
this was my responce i got from profile today after i set them a link to this page
n2o
cool
pk ripped
I'd buy several sets!
Mattblack
International is a good word

I'd be in for 2 sets

International is a good word

I'd be in for 2 sets
rumblerdave
Hopefully, if these happen they will come with the old style Profile "star" spiders... not the ugly modern overly machined spider they sell now...
cruiser boy
I'll take two sets!!
cornfed
Why don't you get these:

http://www.danscomp.com/452510.php?cat=PARTS#

They don't have the indentation for the decal, but they pretty much look exactly the same and are inexpensive. They even use the same spindle and BB as old school Profiles. The Eastern logo buffs off w/ Mother's easily. I have them on my MTB and they work great...

A good stamp press and you could have those stamped out in a heartbeat... SR
invisibleman1
mybe they can do a champ pro kit.....frame fork bars cranks.
.like redline did.

wooo gimmie gimmie!

underdog> i think a DATE STAMP is a great idea.
TOMMY2WHEEL
I was thinking the same thing cornfed

Chevron Envy
Profile probably makes those cranks with the Eastern badge anyway.
rumblerdave
Where IS Eastern stuff made, anyway?
Chevron Envy
It's probably made under license by Profile and farmed out for overseas production (since the price is so low).

You could never make those cranks in the USA at that price point.

Never, not even with the employ of an army of H2B workers.
mr coasterbrake
Taiwan.

i'm going to guess that with every company and their brother coming out with a "Profile" clone in the last several years, that Profile's patents must have expired.

EMilner
Box cranks, YES! If there is a petition to sign to Profile or a deposit to hold, count me in for two sets; heck three!!!!
