Are these any good? I'm not familiar with the brand. They come in colors- not an easy thing to find in a 24 inch rim nowadays.

Pinned or welded seams?
Color- anodized or painted?
Any one else still make colored 24 in. rims? (besides Tuffs!)

Well? Anybody tried them?

I've used taipans which are also made by velocity, they are great. Powder coated finish on those rims but I haven't seen anyone have a set of the psycho rims.

I would have a hard time believing they aren't good quality since they are velocity but maybe just not the more common rim for bmx.

Velocity rims are the most underrated rims on the planet. They are made in Australia. The highest quality aluminum in the world comes from Australia and somewhere in South America, not sure exactly where in S.A.
Velocity aren't as popular as Sun or Alex (ugh) because they don't advertise as much obviously.
I bought a set for my son on his first of custom wheels, never bent or had any problems.
My next racing build will have Velocity rims, Taipan or Psychos.
