What is the best stuff to use to apply the gold flanges on the new school graphites?
ColoredTuffs.com
silicone works great!

Yup, I used clear silicone, been on there for a while now. I got one of the first sets, they haven't fallen off or come loose yet!

I polished mine out with a Dremel and they look great.
I'm about to do the mount this week.

This could be a dumb question, but should I just go with a small blob of clear silicone or should I lay down a fat line of it?
Also, did you apply to the back of the flange, the the Tuff, or both?

thanks

Thin line to the tuff itself. A fat line will be visible. Even with the thin line I ended up scraping off excess silicone.

Thanks Sprinter.
Off to Home Depot tomorrow...

places like home depot sell different grades of silicone. make sure you read the label to get the one you need.

Off hand I think mine was like tub and tile or something like that. Whatever it was, I read to make sure plastic and metal were OK surfaces for it. I got it where else... but Wal-Mart.
