FL BMX COP
Here's another pic of my Retro Quad in action this past weekend at the Florida State Qualifier in Cape Coral Florida. Took thirds all weekend in the motos, and a 5th, and an 8th in the Mains.

well like any real BMX bike, things have gotta change.

Unexpectedly ran across a batch of used racing stuff last night so here is my second quad configuration.

And I must admit that the newschool parts feel better on the frame geometry than the freestyle stuff did.

It's tougher looking than I'm used to so I will be committing a felony, taking up drinking, or at least getting a tattoo before I feel comfortable riding it.

cheers!

Looks good bridgecity. Now go and TEAR IT LOOSE!

The forks, stem, bars was what did it. You got rid of the old standing gear...
Paperboy
Derrick's bike. Using a temporary stem until the backordered stem arrives. Also need to cut down the steerer tube. It's ridable. That's what really matters.

Been having some fun and thought I would share. I know, I need to put the brakes on lol. I couldn't help it (like bitd). I had to take her for a test run and a small photo shoot in the back yard.

SE Quadangle
Hi there,
it was a hard fight to get this beauty. It was two month ago that I won the ebay auction for a 07 looptail quad. Unfortunately the seller was quadra-angle1 alias quadra-angelezz, alias....alias..... :Special Salute:
He did not ship the frame and he did not reply to my emails but for sure he took my money! :Special Salute:
Thank God I payed via PAYPAL but it took 2 months to get my refund. :hurl: So no loopy here.

Then I detected another one in the bay and it was a very nice seller. Rocket fast delivery!!
Tracking the box via internet I could see where it the box was. Then there occured problems at the german customs office because they had to contact me regarding the additional fees but they didn't have my number. It was an odyssey to get it out of the customs office but now I can say it's mine!

So I choosed a classic design, not really special. Can't await to go out for a spin.

One thing concerns me. Why do the seat tube stay not match the seat tube?
Todd, who the hell is responsible for that design?? It would be a lot stronger if the tube routing was like the 1st edition. Anyway I love it and when it gets brocken I'll ship it to a "Rod Miles" here in Germany! :thanks:

Cheers

dug this thread outa the cellar...pretty interesting to see all the different ways everyone built off the same frame...
And of course mine that I finished last spring smile.gif

COASTY
Lookin good there.
Mine will be getting a makeover soon. A new color for the frame (Dark blue, black or Candy red) and maybe some JC Bottema forks. Oh and SS Pro Bars from JC too !

I loved rereading thru this thread.

Some real interesting comments and builds now that the SE retro's are a staple of this forum.

Here are some recent pics of mine just for fun...
