I was thinking the same thing! I was never good at those long tracks. I like the old school tracks that had a little down hill slope to them.

Does it do Pop A Wheelies, too? Looks tough.

Mar 6 2007, 08:28 AM
By the evident size of the rear end on that thing, no, it does not do pop a wheelies.
Gorgeous, though.

Keep it Warm,
"Old School" is Louie Brown, I believe from the Daytona, FL area. He is definitely an SE NUT! He's been collecting SE stuff since the 90's. I'm pretty sure he dosen't have a computer, so you wouldn't see him on here. Here's a pic of him and Tom Ritz at the Orlando track.

Geez, you'd think those two dudes were freezing their tails off in Florida! Louie has a winter hat on and the other guy is pit-warmin' his metacarples! LOL
Thanks Greg

Keep it Warm,
At the recent High Springs Qualifier the temp when my daughter and I went to the track at 6 am was a brisk 21 degrees!!! For a guy who has lived in South Florida his whole life it was freezing!! It was pretty cold here in Miami last weekend; 50, but it's back to the normal 80's now.

Now THAT would be cool!!!!! I saw that pic of Stompin' Stu racing on Redline last year or so, and it sent chills up my spine... But to see him on a looptail Quadangle, with SE jersey etc, THAT would be a real Kodak moment!!!

I didn't realize how much the difference skin walls make?

Mattblack-
Very nice!
I'm gonna go the Tuff/Graphs route myself; I dig the skins., but I really dig the blackwalls - reminds me of the Carlisle Aggressor days!
Seriously nice build, muted tones, etc. Tasteful
i agree, those tuffs look real sweet on the longer frame

The Graphites on Matt's Quad are 200? model sealed bearing units , with the flanges Ted made , after a bit of poking , prodding & colaboration from Matt & I.
Skyway don't & probably wont ever make flanged Tuff's ever again , despite it being a classic easily recognised & distinguished look that made them a lot of money in the early 1980's....
The original 1980's set of graphites we have don't see very much track time & _no_ big air time , to expensive to land badly on them now , hence the need for the old skool look on new skool tuffs , best of both worlds @ a reasonable price.
I'll meet you halfway Tummler415.
A Blackwall on the front in honour of the almighty 2.125 Carlisle Aggressor & a black rubber skinwall 1.75 Comp 3 or Stadium (style) tire on the back. A Stadium tires (on the rear) stuck like glue on anything but a _bone dry_ dirt track here.
