Can you dye a leather seat?

Anyone ever try with good results?
Randy
Solid leather? Like a Brooks road bike saddle?

But if your talking Kashimax suede covered....I've peeled one and had it re-covered, rather easy.
Todzilla
Yes, solid leather.

Like a Elina road saddle.

The local shoe cobler answered my question on this topic as such:

"I'm good at saving soles and healing people, but I'm not real good with dying."

Interestingly, he sold dyes, but didn't recommend any them. Said they will stain your cloths and rub off.
