is it possible to run a 15t on a non flip hub the bike shop says it is?? the type is ACS claws for a 3/32 chain

Actually, AC Racing makes a 15 that will work on a standard non flip-flop hub. They redesigned the position of the pawls so that it could work.

The AC 888 is the only 15T freewheel I know of that will work on a non-flip flop hub. The 15T ACS claw will not work.

Yes.... the AC 15 tooth is the only one that you can use. If your local shop does not have it, I do stock them at our webstore. The link is below...

Last time I made an enquiry about the strength & reliability of the AC888 sprocket to the manufacturers , I got absolutely no reply.
Do a search on them , all my searches ~9 months ago yeiled bad reviews , maybe they have redesigned/re tooled them , but , last time I read up about them they were only good for 5 year olds & tended to fail under the load of anyone with _any_ strength in their legs as soon as they "got up & stood on the pedals"
