I have a set of 1.5 arayas that I was wanting to have laced up for a build but I was wondering about the weight limits. I'm a little over 200 lbs. and have seen them rims limited to 150 lbs. This is just going to be a bike I tool around the hood on, nothing crazy. Do you think they will hold or will I end up tacoing them right away?

If you're not jumping you should be fine. Some Mountain bikes and Road bikes don't have rims that wide.

you should be fine. the guy who laces my wheels said each tensioned spoke holds 100 lbs. I run t1000 rims on my 20", I weigh a little over 250 lbs. haven't had any problems yet...

My race bike has 1.50s and I am around 180. Never had problems with them, been using that size for about 15 years.

My Auburn has 1.5 Arayas laced to Suzue hubs and they are straight as always. I've even cased the back wheel a few times with no damage.
