Does anyone know if these frames were chromed underneath the painted front ends?I'm talking about the 3 colour-way scheme(black,red,chrome..).
I don't want to strip it and find bare metal under there...

Nic the whole frame should be chrome but I bet the forks are raw underneath

yes, but not all of them were fully polished out under the paint (same goes for the 1/2 chrome redlines).
