What years did Shimano come out with the DX XT and LX lines of parts ie.. Hubs etc......

Have a set of low flange cassette hubs that are not DX. Trying to find out if they are possibly XT or LX mind you that these are BMX specific not road

There was another thread started showing a pic of a non-spacer using the cog you would use for a coaster brake

Thanks
Ryan

XT and LX componentry was/is only produced as mountain bike equipment.

Do you have a picture of this hub you could post?

are you shure these aren't dx? there are a few variations on it, and i don't believe there any easy way to tell unless it's like some of the newschool ones that have it written.
hm i have heard of a conversion using both dx single speed parts and lx or xt mtb sheel and such, maybe something like that?
just as said above xt llx mtb, dx they use on bmx.

Herelink is a link to the other thread. the pic with the gold hubs is like mine. Knowing the bike they came off of tells me they may not be top quality but would like to know anyways

If it looks just like that gold one, then it's definitely not XT or LX.
Kurt.
This is on the bay at the moment - it's a Shimano BMX catalog from about '81. You can see that there are at least 4 types of Shimano hub at the time - bodies appear very similar - it's the mechanism that varies. I'd love a close up look at this catalog - it'd answer all our questions I reckon.
Cheers Kurt
