I was wondering is there a adapter that is sold that will allow you to use threadless forks and headset if the bike is a current old school threaded style. If so where can they be bought and any expierence with them working. Thanks

I am going to go out on a limb here... I remember when i first got my Loop PK (i bought it NOS in 1993) i had a few forks thru the years threaded first then the threadless craze hit ..i actually used 1 inch bearing cups and loose ball bearings in them...worked great..now the bike has been totally redone (still factory original powdercoat and stickers...and all NOS parts). I didn't hurt the headtube....I know i will catch some flack on this comment, and i know i caught some when i first found it and tried to sell it on ebay (with the threadless L/G forks and built totally wrong) but do what u want...ride it like u stole it!!!

use the old-school cups (tange/tioga style) for the frame. use everything else from a 1 1/8" A-headset brand (like the "Tank") new-school headset. depending on your exact combo of stuff you might need to loose-pack the bearings.
