Motor City Mongoose
I've had this for a few years now and got a bug up my but to restore it - can anyone tell me what model it is, what the decals for it should look like, and where I can get a set? I believe I decoded it once for the year and I think it's a `79, but I could be wrong.

Sorry about the crappy pictures, they were all I had in my computer and I'm too lazy right now to go out and take more.

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for the link. It looks like the first bike in the `78 catalog, but I thought I decoded it to be a `79. Serial number is HQ594990, but the Q may be an O with a nick in it.

My bad, that bike doesn't have a gusset.

There are no O s. August of 79.

Thrasher, Phantom, Scrambler. They all used the same frames with different features.

My scanner is busticated.

Sweet, thanks Ted. I thought I figured that out correctly before.

So that means I can put on whatever of those stickers I can find or like as long as the components basically match, and still be "legal"?
