I think on the MX 1000s , you would just need the shorter rear anchor bolt, you should be able to pull one out of another brake as there pretty much universal...
I dont think theres a difference otherwise, those brakes may even have came w/ both bolts when new...

That is correct, what you need is a shorter pivot bolt and they can be used for a rear brake.
Let me know if you need a MX 1000 pivot bolt I probably have one around here somewhere.

the washers are different too. The rear brakes washers have a deeper arc to them than the front brakes.

Very easy process. Loosen nut on front, remove bolt, insert shorter bolt. Even I can do it and that's really saying something. Just don't drop the junk on the floor and lose the order of everything. ... there's washers?

It is harder if you want to use a potts mod though.

Waking this thread back up...haha...I am a mid-school guy and I need a guide on how to set up mx-1000s Could someone tell me the washer set up, etc? I guess I'm wondering do all of the washers/spacers go on top of the brake bridge and only the nut goes below the brake bridge? If you guys want me to take a pic of the spacers I have let me know, it looks like everything is there...Old school guys help me out!
Thanks in advance,
Mike
