I am restoring an early 80's PK Ripper; i want to powder coat the frame and chrome the forks. Does anyone have a good contact(s) in or near NYC that could do a great job at a reasonable cost?

Am also considering having the frame polished or ball burnished (it's og silver, never been powdered). Which would you recommend and why? Of course, a referral for a good polisher/burnisher would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot for any guidance here.

I use Action Powder Coating in Long Island, they also polish. Top notch work and quick return. I'll get the number and PM you with it later.

If you need help with anything else don't hesitate to ask.

Im thinking of using them, how much do they charge.to powder a frame fork and bars,or to re chrome the same thing........

Thanks 85 TrickStar. Really appreciate the hospitality. I had two trick stars in the mid 80's - both dominguez inspired.

Look forward to hearing from you.
