I have a frame I would like to refinish cheaply and I was hoping to get some feedback from the people here on the options available in the Portland, OR area.

I got a quote for $150 for powdercoating but that is a bit more than I want to spend. Anyone in the Portland, OR know of a cheaper place? I live in an apartment and there is no where for me to do a rattle can job myself.

Sorry if this is a double posting. I have read a few posts about this but I am hoping to get some info on my options locally.

Cheers.

J

If you don't mind shipping it to Michigan, Randy used to be able to get a frameset powdered for $60. You may want to ask him if he's still willing to do that.

I'd rather not, I haven't had a bike done in a year or so and would rather not do anymore.

Hit your Yellow Pages, your bound to have one right in Portland. Ask to see their work, and references.

Edit, I see you have one. Keep looking, $150 is steep but could be well worth it, right Jeff

I'll try to ask the guys I hang with for suggestions. They've used a few in the area, but recently started doing their own stuff. They may even do it for you. I'll check. PM me if it appears I've forgotten.

Sorry for the really delayed response.

Check your PM box for a possibility or two.
