Champion resto
I have an Champion I would like to redo. It was purchased new by my brother in the early 80's and given to my 13yr old son, but I have been so out of bikes for so long I dont remember where to start.
I know I need new rims, and one crank arm "or pair".
I believe the crank arm is anodized gold aluminim with Skyway on it? Square peg with cap..
Everything on the bike is in really good condition, the decals are red/yellow/blue and a few scratches. Could use new ones, the only thing is we need rims and crank arms. I'd prefer not to just have rims and have new spokes installed, I'd just like something retro for it's era. I do not know what "MM" means when measuring cranks, I need to know what to search for or where to get a reasonable price on parts.
Here is the deal, the bike is complete as it sits, but needs a few things to get it rolling again. I would consider selling and just buing him a new BMX bike.
If you have any suggestions, let me know please, if you have some parts or a link to parts let me know.
thanks........
