Hello all,

I'm new to this, although discovering this site has driven me to restore my old '85 CW California Freestyle that's been languishing in my garage.

I searched the forums but was unable to find a parts list for a 401 flight bottom bracket with sealed bearings. Other than the pinch bolts that are installed in the crank arms, what other parts are missing?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Looks almost complete. There should be a flat washer and a spring (lock) washer on both sides to attach the arms to the spindle. Looks like you have a tecmatic bb. Typically there isn't a second nut on the non drive side of the tecmatic bb like on most other bbs including loose ball. You will need a gear with the correct size hole for the 401 spindle or you will need the correct spacer for the larger hole gears.

Wow, thanks for the fast response! This is the bike I am planning to rebuild. I haven't seen many on the board. Are they rare?

I should have added, where can I find these couple of parts - hardware store or a specialist?

Thanks.
