I have some old TNT hubs and need to wrench and/or size that'll fit the pinch bolts on them. Been to a couple of bike shops and it seems it is between a 3 and 4mm. Was this a specialty size from my great friends at TNT or are 3.5mm wrenches readily available? Thanks...

Made in USA hubs have standard hardware. Try a 1/8 inch allen wrench. Unless the hubs have TNT etched on the body they are USA made.

Dude, calm down.
I have bolth the darenger's and the revolver's and as raybeard sead, try an American allen wrench for thay are American made. Do not try to use a meteric allen wrench, it will most likely strip out your set screw!
Be gentle, take your time, and let the good times roll!

we tried the American sizes also to no avail

Looks like as much as I love these, I'll have to let em go as they have too much play. Any last suggestions?

are you using an allen key in good nick? I have never seen a 3.5mm key. it must be a 1/8" grubscrew badly worn. if your 1/8" key is worn and the screw is also hammered this could be all the problem. if so try this: if you have a 6" bench grinder face the key off approx 3mm so you have a nice hex again with sharp corners and have another go at it. degrease it and blow any crud out with a blow gun. (also don't overheat the key on the grinder as it will be rooted) maybe post a close up pic?
