ive come across some old suntour seatclamps. what intriges me is the orange ones...

i found one still in the bag and its mint, i then found some out of the bags, missing the bolts. (like the bolts were used for other clamps) they have definately never been installed.
question is. the orange one in the bags color matches the other ones perfect. however. the ones out of the bag have the paint chipping off and they are gold anodized underneath.
did companies do this....
