Is there any maintainance that you can do on a freewheel? I have a few that sound a little crunchy.

Try going to(www)bikeguide.org/forums/showthread.php?t=235 gives you posts back to about '03 if above doesnt work, just go to buikeguide.org and query subject

Don't bother, just get another one. I have them NEW for $10. Chrome with 16 teeth. If you need one....

a new one's best. they're cheap. if you want a quick fix, spray some teflon lube in there...
