Welcome to the board Tommy!
It appears to be an 87. In 87 the peg position was moved to the lower half of the forks. Any pictures?
What color?

You must be confused, son. He said RL20II, not 87 Pro World Freestyle Performer Tour.

is the threading for the fork pegs 3/8" or is it bigger?
lower-mounted 3/8" would make it an 87.
lower-mounted larger threads would make it an 88.
the "87" in the serial number indicates when it was actually manufactured, but not necessarily the model year...an early 88 model would have been made in late 87.
also, an 88 model has rear 990 brake mounts.

I found the bike with yellow house paint on it. I striped it and the color was turquoise. Someone welded the pegs to the rear stands, so I have grounded them off and they left holes. So I'm having them welded up and the ride is going to be chromed!!!!
Thanks, Tommy
Thanks for the info.
