Can anyone help ID this frame set. I was told that it was a Redline PL24. The down tube is oval, not round, if that helps any. Here is the serial number: 493695. Thanks ..

It appears to have a 5 inch headtube ?

Headtube is flared like a Laguna 26, but no holes in the rear dropouts. Front fork dropouts are similar to GT/Dyno Cruiser forks (24").

i would say PL 24? looks like to me

I seriously doubt its a Redline. The headtube is TOO long, using a scale compared to the cranks I'd say its a 6 inch or longer headtube. The dropouts look wrong at first glance and the tell tail trademark is missing, triangle gusset under the down tube.

I think it is a Redline. I compare it to the PL24's in the museum and they look alike. The RL's in the museums don't have the triangle under the downtube also. And they have a long head tube too.

You might be right there Dilwert. I didn't realize the PL24 didn't have the gusset. Learn something new everyday.

Yup I think its a PL24 as well because it looks identical to mine!

Redline tapered forks, five inch headtube, Oval downtube.

See bmxstop.com for new decals and it'll look fantastic in no time at all!
