I have an nos 22.2 seatpost and 4 thruster frames. It fits into two of them without a problem. The other two, I can't get it in any more than 1/2". Any ideas? I tried lubing up the seatpost and the seat tube seems clean too.

Use a hammer.


In all seriousness, take a flashlight and look down the seattube, check to see if weld penetrated the seattube and is causing the seatpost to stick, I had it happen with a Dk frame and a dremel fixed the problem.
