I used Streamwood plating once on a Pro Racer. They took quite a bit of time (3 months), and apparently re-did it about three times to get it right. I appreciated the attention to getting the chrome perfect. The welds looked just a little soft when I got it back, meaning the beading was not as visible as I would have liked, despite my saying this was C-R-I-T-I-C-A-L. Anyway, I think Dave is the the man there. It's been awhile since I used them, maybe a year ago when I lived in Chi-town. Cost me $200 for the frame and fork.
