I just purchased a Titan mini frame with a 1" Answer Alumilite fork. No headset included. What kind of headset will fit this frame? Where might I find one? I am trying to set it up for my daughter. What is typical gearing on a mini? I was thinking of using 140 mm cranks? Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

try a 1" threaded for a road bike. the next size smaller than bmx headtube.

I used a 1" GT headset in a Titan jr.

ah, is this what you speak of. titan. if so, that looks like a threadless fork(but not a great pic of the fork so i may be wrong). You need a 1" mini threadless headset. if your local bike shop doesn't have one, you can always go to dans. they have one for $19.99.
if it's a threaded one inch fork, give me an email, as i probably have an extra one laying around somewhere.

i currently have a titan mini-cruiser f/f for sale if anyone is interested.

btw, a 1" threadless is what you need.

Thanks for all the advice. I installed a NOS 1" aluminum Ultegra road bike headset. The forks are threaded. Now what kind of gearing is used on a mini? I was thinking of using 140-150mm cranks. Thanks for your help.

Try a 42-16. all around good gear. We also put a set of 151mm CBR cranks in my sons Titan, clearance wise works well.

OSR, shoot me a pic of the parts... I could use some........
