I'm venturing into something I know nothing about and need some advice. I just purchased a National Pro mini frame and fork for my son and so far I have a mini Pro Neck and mini GT bars no cross bar. But have no idea of what type of cranks and size, wheels and brakes that I should put on it??? I would like to keep it in the 82-84 era any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!

What you need are some 1 1/8" Ukai chrome rims, Comp IIIs, chrome double butted spokes, Suzue low flange sealed, Sunshine sealed, or Bullseye chrome hubs. You need a DiaCompe 890 brake, I think, or maybe a road bike brake from the era. Finally, some Suntour, Super Maxy, or Shimano polished cranks, 165-170mm, and Hutch mini pedals.

The 1 1/8 I have seen are 36 but they also make 28s.

Make sure you post a pic when it's done.
