is there any type of rubber conditioner I can apply to dry tires or something to keep them from drying more??? I have a NOS set of peregrine HP tires but they are awful dry and I would hate to have them crack when I mount them

Yeah, I have a set of Comp ST's like that - ashame, considering they are gum walls too.

You can try to cooking oil - rub it in the best you can. It might be beyond return....
