Hey there,
I have a question for all you photoshop pro's out there.

I recently bought an old poster which I want to repair.
Its over 23 years old and is not looking to well as it has
allot of crease marks etc .....

So I have had the poster profesionally photographed
(9"x11" ? negative, i think) and will be getting the negative
scanned, appartly this is the standard procedure that
museums and librarys do to document work etc .....

So I will have this HUGE (I Mean massive) file at the end
of it and will need to photoshop it allot so that by the
end of this project I will be able to get a brand new
poster printed (I have freinds in the printing industry).

My question is this, this is a large poster (SIZE 22" x 34 1/2")
and it will take allot of time to get all the photoshop work
done to make it as good as new, do anyone have any good
links to people who do this type of restoration?
As this poster means allot to me and I am compeled to get
it restored in full (If I can afford it)

This might be an expensive proposition if you are only printing one copy. Restoration time for the digital work is pricey, anywhere between $40-$60 per hour. Printing one copy will be extremely expensive unless it is done on a large format inkjet which is generally about $5-$10 per square foot.

them FARAH posters are hard to let go... in the end itll be cheaper to just "hire" her now, than to restore the poster...
