I just put a supercross fork on my supercross cruiser, 1" threaded. I then got a DK square corner stem but it has the wrong stem bolt, a allen head type. It slips in the fork tube really easy when tightened. I even tried another long allen bolt i had and another wedge and it still slipped. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

I tried a DK stem once and even with the correct bolt that thing slipped all over the place.

Cut out a piece of aluminum pop can about 3.5 inches by 1 inch, and use it as a shim. Can't guarantee this will work for you, but it's worked for me. I've also used a strip cut from a poly pop bottle to help take up the extra space in a mtb steer tube with a bmx stem.

If all else fails, email SX for the info.

Make sure there isn't a burr on the stem or the wedge preventing it from sliding and tightening up correctly. I had that happen. The wedge stopped at the burr but the bolt felt good and tight.

I tried a similar haro fusion stem with a regular bolt that you use a wrench for and it tightened up real tight...so I'm thinking the correct bolt with the stem will fix the problem.
