Has anyone had anything refinished/rechromed in the Denver CO area that they would recommend?

OR

Is there a good metal finisher that you would recommend that small parts could be sent to?

Any help appreciated.

Sorry I don't have any specific recommendations on a plater in your area...only, I WILL recommend you stick close to Denver and not send stuff away as it can get lost in the mail if you don't use FedEx Ground which is trackable. Shops go out of business in a heartbeat as the EPA 5-0 like to put these folks out of business due to the toxic crap they use to perform their chroming magic on a daily basis. There's also less chance of a misunderstanding if you're standing in front of the plater showing him what you expect him to do. You might try a plater that does fine restoration plating of furniture hardware as they can often handle most small BMX parts other than frames (just don't tell them it's for a BMX bike...those cranks are an obsolete Baldwin door opener right?). Other than that call a car resto shop and ask them who they use (call a few of them and you'll most likely find that the majority use the same shop). Good luck
