Anyone know a source for a replacement coil shock absorber for my Dan Gurney monoshock that I'm restoring? Every 12" shock I find is too large (such as 3" coil), too heavy, and not appropriate for this application. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Well, right after posting I found these on auction at eBay with 9 minutes to go and I bought them:

This looks like a perfect match other than the fact that the original shock was completely chrome - same length, width, travel, and adjustment mechanism. I did have to get two of these so if anyone needs a 12" shock for their monoshock bike let me know...

I need a shock for Gurney also.

Dev....glad to see you found one...I thought you had a line on one last week.....guess the dims weren't correct?

A minibike shock will be closer to correct as motorcycle shocks are usually too heavy duty.
