Can anyone help me identify this GT:

Suppose to be 85 Mach one, but forks look like Tange forks. I thought the 85 Mach Ones had solid front dropouts (Tange dropouts have cutouts). Which this has.
SN is suppose to be gt00111.

Makes no sense to me. Could this be a Team Series?

I am desperate for help!!!!!!

Thanks,
dave

I have an 84 Mach one and my serial number is not like that one. Mine is 11840101. No lettering.

Are you refering the one on ebay? If so the decals are correct. They are identical to mine. The only differences is the front brake and the stem.

Team issue? I am not sure. The era is correct for an 85.

I had an 85 back in the day which had Gt Pro forks, no cut outs near the drop outs.
I now have a 84 with I think the same forks and a 85 parts bike which came with Tange forks like the one on ebay.
I'm so confused.....
I was just curious because the S/N didn't make sense to me.

My 85 S/N is G5I03713, made overseas,
my 84 is the same format as yours 9841900, which is a US frame.
Thanks!!

Just wanted to make sure my Gt's are as correct as can be.

Hey fellas. The Mach one in question belongs to me and i am confused about the s/n as well. I own a few mid 80's gt's and the mach one serial is pretty funky to say the least! I can assure you guys that the bike is unmolested and original so if anyone can figure out the s/n i would love to hear about it!
