what is the proper crank length and gearing for a 26"?

I'm running 39/18 (56.3 vs a 55.0 44/16 = 20" wheel) and 180 cranks on my Supercross MX26. 55 was a bit too easy.

Crank length depends on the length of your legs. I think Bill has a chart here somewhere. But if you are tall enough for a 26" cruiser it will probably be around 185-190mm.
With gearing, you have to do the math so it comes out to about 55-58 gear-inches. With the big wheels, you will probably like a slightly higher number than you would normaly run on a 24" wheel.

it depends on what makes you go, i have two 26, one supports gearing of 167.5 crank arms and 48 ring with a 16 freewheel. the other 175 crank arms and 48 ring and a17 freewheel. keep cruzing
