Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I'm curious what length crank arms you guys run on your pit bikes, and how you gear them.

I've been running 155mm ranks 44/16 on my '85 CW. I'm building up an '83 CW (the one I got for my 11th B'day), and thinking of trying something different. What would you guys recommened?

thanks,
Frazer
Bill
You run them as long as your bike will allow. If they hit the ground, they are too long..

I am running 170mm profiles on mine.

Run a 39tooth sprocket cuz 44t will give you hard time to pedal with small cranks

165mm, 43-16, I'd go with a larger chainwheel but it won't fit my frame.

172 mm with 45/14, I wish my frame would allow a 46.
