Anyone have other suggestions for getting the rivets out of a tuff2 rear wheel. the directions say to grind the heads off or use a drill and drill em out. Thoughs suggestions on a better or safer way before I charge up the grinder?

You should be fine with the grinder. Just use the edge of the grinding disc(curved part) and it'll never even have contact with the flange.

Thanks guys. I'll see about the grinder first. if im not comfortable with that I'll go the drill route.

They sure have at times in the past, but they have won more games in the last 4 years than any other team in the NFL. It sure is a good time to be an Eagles fan. If McNabb leads us to a championship, he will be loved forever in this area.

Parcells did do a nice job with them this year. It did become obvious(to me) that he doesn't have much confidence in his QB though.

do you blame him????
he has a lot of work to do there. but AMAZING what a little discipline can do.

For tuff2's you don't need to drill them out, just use a 4" grinder with a fine cutting wheel and very slowly grind off the tops. Once they are off then use a fine centre punch and knock out the pins. Its not a hard job.

drill is safest as grinder will damage flanges
use a center punch to start the drill bit in center
