I've just picked up some yellow tuffs but they have
faded and gone "milky" . Is it possible to bring back the colour somehow? Or is it possible to spray them? If so what type of paint is best?

Dude,

this is most probably one of the most discussed topics in the T and R section, do a 'search the forums' in the community icon in the navigator bar above. you will get a million results....

definetly dont spray paint them, and definetly do a search like ORB said

Fading is kind of another story when it comes to restoring Tuffs. You need to either remove some of the surface with a Dremel, wet sanding, scouring pad or something and then put lots of oil or Armoral.

I havent had tuffwheels before, do they accept a standard shimano type freewheel? I just ordered a set of 24" cruiser- tuffs online.

they do indeed....

Thanks for the tip ORB. It makes interesting reading. I'm going to experiment with various things and see what happens!!
