Here is a tip for all you guys building new wheels.
Remember how the old wheel sets with chome spokes would really "bling bling" in the sun
Can't find that style of spoke in your size
Not a problem..Just buy the size you need in stainless. Get some good metal polish, and polish them before you have the wheels assembled.
Now you to can be the king of Bling!

They don't make chrome spokes? maybe i am thinking of the stainless steel spokes, they're kinda shiny.

pk ripped; chrome spokes may still be availble, although i haven't seen them in many years. i prefer stainless for durability (they don't chip or rust) and as quadzilla states, they are available in virtually every size. 20" wheel sizes come in 2mm increments, (1mm increments for some lengths) 24" and 26" sizes are available in 1mm increments. never a problem with too short or too long anymore. the quality is also superior, higher grade steel and usually a better manufacturing process. you may also more easily find butted or forged spokes in stainless. simichrome paste does wonders!
