The parts for my new school/retro style cruiser are coming together. I have the Phil Wood hubs on the way to me, I've got a lovely pair of NOS black skinwall comp III's, and now I would like to mix them with a nice set of new school rims to take a bit of abuse. But I cannot find a pair of either chrome or high polished silver 26" rims to match the build scheme...

Anybody know of any company that makes them? They all seem to be MTB rims in black only. DMR do a silver set but they are anodised and hence a bit dull. What are you cruisers riding??

Sun made a Rhino Lite that was highly polished a few years back.

I think Supercross has some *****en rims but I dont know if they come polished?

Sun rhyno lites are still avalible in ploished so are the sun mammoths

I'll check out SUN today see if they will ship direct to the UK (I can only seem to find them in black in the UK. Spoke to one retailer who stated that their minimum order was huge, and hence everyone stays with the popular option, black). Unless anyone knows of a UK retailer that stocks polished??
