Hey bro. Powder wont stick to bondo or other fillers like that. Its time to weld and grind!

Needs to filled with weld, then smoothed out. The heat from the powder coating oven will not allow any fillers such as bondo to work. I have had this done several times.

I've been told that powder will stick to labmetal. I bought some but still have not properly finished the project.

I have been told there are some titanium epoxy fillers which can be used. Have not tried them though.

I heard that JB Weld will work. It is $3.95 at WalMart in a little dual pack (weld and hardener).

Rob is right, depending on the damage-if it is a ding welding and a grinder will do the job, if it is a bad dent popping it out from the other side and grinding is the best bet. That was done to my resto project before re-chroming. Also be careful how much grinding is done-don't want to grind through the frame!

I also heard JB weld will work but have never tried it!

Try a high tec auto body shop.... some cars are powder coated.. They would know what could be used as filler... It's there business to know.. Ziggy

Instead of body filler or welding, take the frame to a place called "Dent Dr." They heat the meat and at the right temp they zap it with liquid Nitrogen and the dent pops out. Ive seen it work on cars and no damage to the paint and no paint work needed. May work on the frame
