Anyone know what happened to all the cleaning tuffs threads went ?
I know I've seen some before I have been through the resto section and the only thread I can find is how to clean white ones.
I have a set of rough blue ones to clean and would appreciate some advice.
Cheers

Try that bathroom cleaner "scrubbing bubbles", spray on, and wipe off. Its safe for tile etc.. I had a pair of yellow ones way back when, and it worked fine. If its a tough mess, use one of those plastic scrubbers too.

Look at my Skyway TA Thread in the general OS discussions- the mags in the top pictures were cleaned with Wesley's bleach white (get it at like AutoZone) and a quick rub of a soapy pad. Wesley's worked amazing....look at the middle of the hub area- it was caked with crap that literally rolled off after it sat for a minute or two. Try it, you'll like it.

I finished cleaning a set of rough blue ones using Scotch soap pads, water, paint stripper, and then armoral wipes. The soap pads worked well on the alloy hubs too. Oh and don't leave out "elbow grease!"
