Man oh man....I cant figure out how to install the brake cable to the DX lever....brain fart...help! Which way does it run through??

The cable runs through the lever and the housing rests against the plastic slider. Hope this helps!

I have tried every which way and it doesnt seem to sit right?!?!? I need a DX lever hotline....lol

This is hard to explain but here goes. I assume you have brake lever and grip installed. DX lever pushes the cable housing instead of pulling the cable, keep this in mind and it makes it easier to work out.
The round bit on the end of the cable -----o needs to go through the lever completely and sits on a hook section which is normally covered by the grip flange. peel grip flange back and you will see hooked section. hooking this on is easiest when lever depressed and cable loose.
Next the metal end of the cables outer housing (called the housing ferrel if memory serves me) should rest on the section at the side opposite the grip, you should see another two small hooks to hold it in place (you will see this section move when you move the lever).
Thats it, now get the caliper conected and adjusted and that should be you working...lol
