Out of some curiosity, does anyone remember the SR spintech stem & rotor of the mid'80s ? If I'm not mistaken, the rotor uses only a single cable that runs through the stem for the upper half of it, while the lower half uses a Gyro like 2 into 1 cable. See pic. http://www.oldschool-bmx.gmxhome.de/oldschoolbmx.html And if I'm correct, then can someone please explain to me how the system work and does it perform just as well as a Gyro ? because I personally never seen it before.
