I have a Santa Ana GT frame and fork. I am the original owner, my mom bought it for me back in 1982 or 83 I am guessing...
The serial number is 23445
I am just wanting to find out if possible what date aprox this frame was manufactured.
Eventually I am planning on restoring it, and would like to get it into the museum.
Just an FYI for any GT fans out there, this frame and fork is not for sale at any price, and never will be, so please don't ask.
There are some things money cannot buy, and this frame and fork is one of them...

ok ok so I'm not retarded... when either of you win the lottery, get back to me, we'll discuss figures...
but seriously how did ya get the date info for that serial # ???
I was pretty sure I got it in '83 because the fork steerer tube has a decal "BMX Action Nora Cup No. 1 Bicycle 1982" If I recall correctly I got this frame because of that
here's the part where i make you all sick...
this frameset replaced my looptail Quadangle...
what was I thinking? lol
ahhh to have all my old school rides back...
Cycle Pro Macho
Redline MXII
Schwinn Sting
Redline Proline
Cook Bros.
Mongoose Supergoose
Looptail Quadangle
Santa Ana GT
Looptail Robinson
Schwinn Predator
Hutch Pro Racer
Reynolds Quadangle
Patterson Pro
I know I have the sequence right for the first six, and the last two... I also recall the GT replaced the looptail Quad. The Quad was blue with white redline forks, and the only two pics I still have of this GT from back in the day had the white redline forks on it still. not sure about the rest.
