Is there any way to get money back from Paypal, if you sent Paypal funds to someone who has not made good with the item you paid for? Please help. I'm getting hosed by one of our members I'm sure of it. First things first, what can Paypal do for me?
Thanks

Good Question.
Paypal is the best way to pay for an item outside of Ebay.As long as you are inside of 30 days from sending money, file a complaint with paypal and they will make them provide proof of shipping. If "The Member" does not provide proof of shipping, Paypal will attempt to recover your money.
Good luck mister.

Do I do that from the Paypal website, or via phone. Thanks!

Do it from the PayPal website. I just sent you a copy of an email PayPal sent me last week detailing what to do.
And not to disagree with the Freak, but a USPS money order is the best way to pay in the USA. They are guaranteed by the government (ALL your money back), & if the person don't send your item, it's Mail Fraud!

Old fool. I completely hear your Postal MO thing. I just don't really trust the USPS That much. Plus I like to do everything from my computer.

Thanks guys. All the activity on this subject finally got some results I think. Sounds like the item will be shipped. My problem is that it's been 25 days, and if I wait just a few more days I'll be outside the 30 day recourse window with Paypal. Even though I believe it will be shipped, I'm still thinking about filing a Paypal complaint just to cover my a**. I hate to be a schmuck like that, but $275 isn't chump change to me.

You should still file a reimbursement complaint before the thirty days are up. If you get the item you've been waiting for, you can just withdraw the complaint.
