How do you dye Mags? I have a set I want to dye black(currently White and yellow) Do I use Rit dye? How do I mix it? how long do I leave them in the dye? Any other things I need to do?

Hello Devon:

To my knowledge the factory does not have a policy or procedure for dying Tuffs. Most folks use a cheap can of spray paint which is a travesty.

I have heard that rit dye or others seem to do something, but true black seems unlikely to work. I would recommend just buying a new set of black Tuffs. In any case, use safety glasses! ;>

Bart These are fake mags. I have one Tuff II with a coaster I'm gonna save for a future project.
